Ok! These past few posts got me thinking, and don't interrupt me when I'm actually thinking, ok? OK! What do my fellow/sister writers listen to when they're writing? Do you pipe in some music? Can you handle lyrics, or do you require instrumental pieces only? Or, do you need absolute silence? Do you sing to yourself? Whistle? Tap your feet? I'm very, very curious! Please share!

Is there is anything worse, for a reader, than to become emotionally invested in a well-written, engaging fanfiction, staying up half the night to plow through the first two parts, only to come to a sudden, excruciating, screeching halt at the end, to find, judging by previous readers' comments, that it HASN'T BEEN UPDATED IN ALMOST THREE YEARS AND PROBABLY NEVER WILL? IS THERE? I THINK NOT.
